A compact, slow growing evergreen conifer that is a dense, self forming shrub with ‘soft to touch’ green foliage.  It requires little or no maintenance, growing naturally in a tear drop shape to approximately 3m. 
Perfect as a hedge or screen, as a feature in large containers or as a beautiful garden specimen.

Plant in full sun or part shade in well drained soil.

Will tolerate dry periods once established.  "smaragd' is cold tolerant, with foliage turning a bronze colour in cooler climates during winter.
